REFUND AND RETURN POLICY


Deepa Spice World wishes its customers the best shopping experience to enhance their lives. As opened or used products cannot be reused or resold, the items cannot be returned to the seller once opened. 
Our products contain active natural extracts and ingredients and damages due to neglect, improper usage or wrong application will not be covered under this Policy. This also does not cover repercussions arising out of specific sensitivities towards a product/ ingredient and you are advised to do patch test before using any product.

CANCELLATION POLICY 
Cancellation of orders can be processed before their dispatch from the warehouse(s) only.  
Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped from the warehouse(s). In case you wish to return the product, refer to the Return Policy below. 
A gateway charge of 2.5% plus applicable taxes (if any) shall be levied against your order for cancellation. 
The refund for the cancelled order shall be credited to the original payment account within 15 days of cancellation acceptance.

RETURN POLICY 
The Return Policy does not cover products which have been opened/used. 
• Return due to damage 
In case of damaged product delivery (leakage / broken) due to transit, a refund / exchange can be initiated after a thorough verification. Refer to our Refund Policy below for more details. 
• Return due to any other reasons 
In case of return due to any other reason other than damaged goods, the request for return must be placed within 24 hours of order delivery. Please note the following conditions for return of products: 
The items must be in their original packing, unused and in resalable condition. 
Return shipping charges will have to be paid by the customer and they will be required to arrange their own shipping. 
The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. The items should be sent to the following address:

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion. 
We will not be responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We will be able to issue a refund only after the actual receipt of the goods and after checking that it meets the above-mentioned criteria. 
The amount of refund does not include the delivery charge as they are non-refundable by delivery partners. Also note that a gateway charge of 2.5% plus applicable taxes (if any) shall be levied against your refund. 
The following products cannot be returned: 
Items personalized packaging made to suit your requirement 
Items which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over. 
Items not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery. 
Items which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.


REFUND POLICY 
Deepa Spice World is not responsible for any damage after the delivery of the products.  
An unboxing video is mandatory with the original packaging in case of claims on missing items / leakage / breakage or damage / incorrect product, which has to be made.  
Missing Products: In case any item is found to be missing in your parcel, the unboxing video mentioned above is mandatory to claim for a refund or replacement. Also, the claim should be made on the same day the parcel is received. Once such claim is made with the necessary videos of unboxing and information, we will look into the same at our end and verify with the package details and proceed further. You will be intimated regarding the further steps to be taken once your claim has been accepted. 
In case of a refund to be claimed, kindly contact our customer care on +918086744725 or write to us on info@deepaspiceworld.com with the necessary images and videos related to your claim with subject line “Refund For___”. 
In case your package has been tampered / damaged / defected, kindly refuse to accept the package from the delivery partner on the spot. 
A claim of refund should be made within 24 hours of order delivery with the aforementioned details.  
Once returns are received, examined and accepted, you will receive the choice of: 
(a) refund to your payment method 
(b) a refund in-store credit 
(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available) 
For refund information regarding goods returned due to reasons other than damage, refer the return policy in the aforementioned section. 
If accepted, your refund may take upto 15 days to be credited from the day of refund acceptance by Deepa Spice World. 
We will notify you once this has been completed through email. 
Deepa Spice World will provide all the details with relevant screenshots along with the transaction ID once the refund is initiated.
